The International Olympiads in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics aims at inspiring talented high school students to study these subjects by introducing them to the wonders of beautiful scientific and mathematical theories, preparing them for participating in these Olympiads and encouraging them to opt for careers in science and mathematics. Pakistani students have been regularly participating in the International Physics Olympiad since 2001 and in International Mathematics Olympiad from 2005. From this year the teams of Biology and Chemistry will also participate in the International Biology Olympiad and International Chemistry Olympiad, respectively.  

International Physics Olympiads

The 37th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO-37) is going to be held in Singapore from 8th to 17th July 2006. Dr. Abdullah Sadiq, Chief Coordinator NPTC will lead the team and Dr. Ibrahim Qazi, Coordinator NPTC, Assistant Professor GIK-I will assist him along with the following students as team members.
